As of right now, my favorite ayce hot pot place in terms of food selections. They've got a whole buffet of items to choose from for your hot pot and a shaved ice machine.

This place has been my go to hotpot AYCE for years! Love that they keep the Buffet concept for all the toppings/add ons for the hotpot as well as select hot foods and even shaved milk/ice cream for dessert! Service is always great and servers will ask if you want a refill on the broth when they see its halfway and they almost always refill our drinks without having to ask!

AYCE hot pot PLUS korean side dishes and BINGSOO?? YESS The gods have heard my cries for kimchi with my hotpot and this place delivered. They need to open a branch in queens because NJ is too far but this place is awesome! good service, large space, lots of options of veggies, noodles, sides, meat, seafood, fishcake, and hot food too. My daughter loved the bingsoo + ice cream combo. I want to come back but the drive is killer. please open in queens or long island! PLEASE.

Incredible selection of hot pot ingredients for an incredible price of $35.99 AYCE hotpot. Meats and Seafoods are ordered from the server while all other ingredients are laid on the buffet table. Price is reasonable for the selection and amount. We ordered the Pork Bone soup which started bland but became very tasty after we added different ingredients. I love the individual hot pots which make for healthier rather than communal sharing and dipping. I also love the side dishes like water kimchi, spicy kimchi, anchovies and the different sauces.

After many many many many visits it's time to write another review. This is the restaurant I think of whenever I crave hot pot. There's many others I've tried but nothing beats Garden Shabu in my mind. Quality, quantity, and service is just unmatched. No matter how busy they get I never feel like my table has ever been ignored. They're prompt with our meat/seafood orders every time and we never feel like they skimp out on anything. It does get loud especially during busy times but it never takes away from the whole experience. Will continue to come here as long as they're open!

Love to come back here for hotpot! We came with a group of friends. Some of them were first time having hot pot. They definitely enjoyed it. Lots variety of veggies and dumplings. Some hot food and desserts. Meat and seafood were ordered separately (or if you do ALL YOU CAN EAT, it's included).

Another amazing hot pot lunch at Garden Shabu again. We made a reservation to ensure our spot and got the table right away upon arrival. They had full stock of all their items, all looked so fresh and great quality. The kimchi station had had lots of variety, including my favorite cucumber salad. We got bunch of meat and seafood platter as well. Ribeye was tasty. Seafood was excellent. Our friends who came here for the first time, loved their hot pot experience here.

Huuuge all you can eat (AYCE) hot pot buffet with an impressive selection of veggies (including multiple varieties of mushrooms and leafy greens), fish cakes/balls, bean curd/tofu, seaweed, noodles/konjac, a kimchi station, several cooked food options (dumplings, tempura, japchae, dukbokki, mozzarella sticks, etc.), and a dessert station including soft serve ice cream (vanilla/green tea) and bingsoo (shaved ice) with toppings. The only thing I missed having is quail eggs, but they do have regular egg, both raw and hard boiled. If you're not a meat eater you'd be quite satisfied with this buffet spread (and can order meat & seafood a la carte). But for $10-11 more carnivores should definitely go for the AYCE with meat & seafood which is a great value. (In the past, this used to also include Korean bbq items like short ribs, but now the grill items are limited only to teriyaki pork ribs and Korean beef patties.) Nonetheless, the offerings are very satisfying. The meats are sliced paper thin, and we especially enjoyed the fatty beef, lamb, ribeye, and beef tendon. Each person gets their own pot and choice of soup base so no worries about other people's cooties. For heat seekers, the spicy pork bone broth is flavorful and just a right medium, or you can kick it up a notch with the extra spicy mala base. Plastic gloves are placed at the stations for picking up food with tongs, though I didn't see anyone use them. The two sauce stations are outfitted with everything you could want, though more diluted than I would make at home. Despite the massive space, the restaurant is incredibly busy on weekends and during prime dinner hours so there will be a wait if you roll up at those times without a reservation. Recommend coming earlier if you want to have a less crowded experience or avoid a wait. There are a lot of wait staff on the floor, and some are tasked with just refilling your water or broth. If your attendant is too busy to notice you, there's a button on your table you can press to call someone over, so we never had an issue getting what we needed. You have 1h45m to eat your meal and they'll hand you a bill when it's time so you don't linger too long. Now get ready, get set...GO!!

Amazing hotpot/shabu place for the price. Rows and rows of fresh veggie options and some yummy cooked options as well (japchae, dumplings, ddukbokki, etc)! If you're a meat eater I definitely recommend the meat-seafood combo. Note: if one person orders the meat option, everyone else at the table must do the same. Meat is freshly sliced and not frozen so it cooks very quickly and is tasty! Portions are pretty big imo so I recommend ordering 1-2 meats at a time for 2 ppl. They even have a bingsoo station as well as green tea soft serve, fruit, soojunggwa, and dduk! Amazing. We left stuffed and satisfied. Definitely coming back when we crave hotpot!

Probably my favorite hot pot restaurant in the area. It does get very busy so if you go during prime dinner hours, be prepared to wait. I feel like the prices are very reasonable for all the food options available at this place. I usually choose the no meat buffet option. They have a hot foods section, which usually has some fried dumplings, ddukbokki, vegetable tempura, and fried rice. As for dessert, they have a soft serve machine and bingsoo station. Soft serve ice cream flavors include vanilla, green tea, or twist.
